For stubborn fat pockets and cellulite, Cryo T-Shock EMS treatments offer individuals an effective and non-invasive means for getting rid of unwanted fat. Cryo T-Shock body sculpting is the most innovative and versatile treatment of localized fat, cellulite and “orange skin,” thermo-shock drainage and anti-aging treatments available. It is safe, painless and non-surgical alternative to liposuction, leading to a reduction in the circumference of the treated area.
Cryo T-Shock EMS treatments are a form of Cryotherapy that targets fat cells, freezing them so that the body can then naturally process and remove them. This is achieved without any need for vacuum pressure as used by traditional, older “Fat Freezing” devices, like CoolSculpting, Cryo T-Shock treatment are safer and a fraction of the cost of CoolScupting. Multiple treatments are needed with both treatments by most people to achieve desired results (3-5 is the average). The price per Coolsculpting treatment ranges from $1200-$3600 whereas the price per Cryo T-Shock Slimming/Toning EMS averages $350 per treatment. Also, Cryo T-Shock EMS is a more comfortable treatment with no bruising or after effects such as paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (PAH), aka “stick of butter” syndrome. These treatments are invigorating, safe, and painless without harming the other surrounding tissues.
The “T” stands for thermal and this method consists of a specially developed technique where warm and cold temperatures are utilized and applied directly to your skin via a wand or paddles, based on desired results and the size of the area(s) to be treated. Subcutaneous fat cells are naturally more vulnerable to the effects of cold than other surrounding tissue. Fat cells have a higher sensitivity to temperature than skin cells. Therefore, this leaves the surrounding skin undamaged. Cryo T-Shock treatments work using an alternating cycle of hot and cold therapies, “shocking” fat cells, which destroys them so they can be flushed out through the bloodstream. EMS, or Electro-Mechanical Stimulation, applies small electrical impulses to the muscles causing them to contract and relax rapidly. The EMS function “exercises” the muscles and promotes lymphatic drainage of the lipids for amazing inch loss results. Inflammatory cells gradually digest the affected fat cells in the months after the procedure, further reducing the thickness of the fat layer. One of the outcomes of cryotherapy is an increase in metabolic processes and circulation which causes the body to burn extra calories than it usually would. The rise in metabolism is not typically sufficient to trigger a dramatic weight loss without some exercise or training after the procedures. Exercising vigorously for 30 minutes or more 4-6 hours after the procedure helps accelerate metabolism (up to 3x the normal rate), improve the number of calories burned and maximize the results of the Cryo T-Shock treatment with increased lymphatic drainage.
The outcome of treatments can:
* Reduce fat cells
* Reduce the appearance of cellulite
* Reduce the overall signs of aging
* Improve the general condition of the skin by increasing oxygen and nutrient supply to the skin
Reduce the appearance of cellulite, fine lines and wrinkles. Increases your body’s ability to produce collagen and elastin. The EMS function also helps tightens and tones muscles, too.
Best areas to treat are:
* Face and Neck
CRYO T-SHOCK SLIMMING VS. CRYO TONING
If you’re looking to target fat cells and slim your overall figure, Cryo T-Shock Slimming is a great option. During this painless and relaxing service, the skin is warmed and then rapidly cooled – which may lead to a reduction in the circumference of the treated area and reduction of cellulite. A hand held wand is applied with a massaging technique for smaller areas, while paddles with built in EMS are used for larger areas. Cryo Toning uses the power of cold at higher temperatures to firm and tighten the skin without reducing fat. In addition to smoother tighter skin, it aids in the reduction of cellulite and triggers collagen production to improve the appearance of skin.
Not only does this type of treatment help get rid of fatty cells, it also helps fight the dreaded skin sag from aging. Reversing the effects may be obtained by using the shock of alternating between cold and hot therapies. It triggers the deep layers of collagen back into production.
T-Shock can smooth out wrinkles and blemishes while creating notably tighter skin that can be seen immediately after treatment. The results are even more profound after 4-8 sessions, with clients reporting more youthful looking skin, as well as a reduction of puffiness around the eyes and a reduction in pore size appearance. The settings can be adjusted to burn fat (i.e. double chin) if the client desires. Fat reduction treatments can be performed once every 15 days, while lifting treatments can be performed every 7 days. There is a physiological reason for this: when apoptosis occurs and some fat cells die, waste is formed. This will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and urine). Metabolism must, therefore, be allowed to evacuate this waste without overloading the system.
The outcome of treatments can:
* Reduces inflammation and puffiness
* Reduces wrinkles and fine lines
* Rejuvenate the skin with anti-aging effects
* Strengthen the skin and improve elasticity
* Enhances skin exfoliation and removal of dead skin cells
* Can help improve skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea and eczema
(Note: Only a licensed medical doctor may treat skin diseases. Our treatments are non-invasive and an enhancement to your protocol)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The best candidates are close to their ideal weight and cannot reduce unwanted body fat though diet changes and exercise alone. These treatments are not a weight loss solution and a healthy diet is recommended both before and after treatments for best results.
The number of treatments will depend on your realistic, desired outcome. The average number of treatments are 2-5 for fat reduction. Toning, cellulite reduction and skin rejuvenation requires more treatments for desired results. The average number is 5-10 weekly treatments, along with maintenance sessions.
30-45 minutes for one area.
The change is permanent much like liposuction but must be maintained with proper lifestyle as ALL fat loss treatments can be reversed if weight is continually being gained.
Slimming treatments (fat reduction) can be performed once every 15 days. Cellulite and firming treatments can be performed every 7 days. There is a physiological reason for this: when apoptosis occurs and some fat cells die, waste is formed. This will be eliminated by natural routes (blood, lymphatic system, and then urine). Metabolism must, therefore, be allowed to evacuate this waste without overloading the system.
A lot of the results are immediate! The best results will appear from 15 days to 3 weeks after each treatment. Most clients lose inches immediately after the treatment and urinate it out. We have seen a minimum of 1” loss in the stomach area on our “thinnest” clients and upwards of 3 ½ “lost in one session! We recommend taking your own measurements before the appointment for your own baseline. Many clients are in disbelief (as are we at times) with the amount of inches lost, especially in the tummy area. We will also take measurements before/after your treatment. The proof is in the measurements that this treatment produces immediate results. We have had several clients cry tears of joy.
- Kidney disease or dialysis
- Raynaud’s syndrome
- Pregnant women
- Severe diabetes
- Undergoing chemotherapy
- Botox less than 2 weeks or Fillers less than 4 weeks on treated areas
- Avoid carbs 3 hours prior to fat freeze
- Sunburned skin or recent tanning session
- Laser hair removal or waxing treated area less than one week
There are generally no adverse side effects. Urination will increase slightly over the 3 days following the treatment along with possible change in color/odor of the urine. Any localized redness will disappear after a few hours. In rare cases, localized pain may occur but will dissipate within 2-3 hours. Itching may occur however this is generally due to the reaction of certain cosmetic products used by clients.
The treatment is painless and often relaxing once the skin is cooled.
Save your workout for after the treatment. Exercising vigorously for 30 minutes or more 4 hours after the procedure helps accelerate metabolism (up to 3x the normal rate), improve the number of calories burned and maximize the results of the fat freezing treatment with increased lymphatic drainage.
Yes, the maximum is 2 areas for a treatment depending on the areas treated. 2 large areas cannot be performed at the same as it could overload the lymphatic system and in extreme cases may cause hypothermia. Examples of combined areas would be stomach and legs, back/bra fat and legs, face and stomach, arms and legs, face and legs.
* Avoid sugar/carbs a minimum of 2 hours before
* Be well hydrated prior to the treatment
* Bring a large bottle of water to drink after your treatment
* Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas 2 hours before so you’re not over heated
* Dress in comfortable casual clothes or athletic wear. Some cooling gel may get on clothing but will wash out.
* We recommend taking measurements with a tape measure on your own before and after. We will also take measurements/photos and are often in disbelief with circumference lost in one treatment!
* It’s best to avoid all sugars and carbs for 24 hours, including alcohol.
* Eat foods high in protein, vegetables and good fats.
* Drink half your body weight in fluid ounces the rest of the day. Example: 140lbs = 70 oz
Sugar is a strong power source for fat cells. The cold during the treatment weakens and retracts the adipocyte (fat cell). Eating sugar will give the fat cells food/energy which not only lessen the fat freeze effect, it may even be canceled. This includes sugar in fruits, pasta, bread, rice, cereals etc.
